Barcelona President Laporta: Real Madrid lacks modesty and what they are doing is shameful

Joan Laporta, president of the Spanish club Barcelona, strongly rejected Real Madrid's policy in the recent period, denouncing the actions of officials in the royal club on his television channel.

Laporta said in a radio interview: “Real Madrid is behaving inappropriately because of the unacceptable ridicule that is spreading on their television channel.”

He added: "The judge extended the investigation with Barcelona in the Negrera case at the request of Real Madrid, despite the fact that there has been no evidence for a year, and I do not understand why this process is continuing."

Laporta pointed out that he had not spoken with Florentino Perez since the Spanish Super Cup, and all their discussions were about the Super League championship.

He continued his attack, saying: "What the Real Madrid channel is doing is shameful. They lack modesty, and the Referees Committee and the Football Association must take action in this matter."

Laporta concluded his statements by expressing his anger at "the extension of the investigations into the Negrera case with the aim of increasing pressure on Barcelona, and what happened in the match between Real Madrid and Almeria was a disgrace in front of everyone.
